Accurately sized strips for wholes, halves, thirds, fourths, sixths and eighths — pairs with the “Same amount, different fractions” sample lesson.
Print on cardstock, have students color each row a different color, then cut. Lining up strips is the fastest way to see that 2/4 and 1/2 cover the same length.
